Creatures and Monsters

A practical introduction to character design

( EN / SP )

In this workshop we will put into practice some basics of character design drawing, focusing on some of the most interesting creatures ever imagined: monsters, gizmos and Chimeras. After developing an understanding of what is, in essence, a monster, we will create some amazing monsters. At the end of the workshop we will have some amazing monster designs, out of our imaginations and on the paper, as we practice some of the fundamentals of character illustration.

Goals:

To get familiar with character design through the study and representation (drawing) of physical attributes in monsters

To develop a basic knowledge in drafting, applied to character design.
